Pros

CTA is a fully integrated AE firm. Engineers are in house. Tons of learning opportunities and lots of room and options for growth. CTA allows you to design your career and chase your interests . CTA is a forward thinking company that operates by the golden rule. Kindness and care matter. Known for pioneering environments and technologies, CTA is on the forefront of the industry. Great Culture, fun, kind people, CTA finds time to play. Great location in downtown Boise. Good work life balance. Supportive of employees' families and supportive of the communities we work in. I love working here

Cons

Parking downtown is tough, but its nice to be downtown for all the available amenities for lunch and after work.

Low salary, average culture

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

CTA offers decent benefits, and the majority coworkers are very friendly

Cons

Very low paying salary and bonus structure. Low collaboration between different disciplines. Although they tout the company culture, it is more of a keep your head down and work mentality. Very little training occurs, and there is only a little room for growth.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. CTA’s open door policy is important, and we hope employees will feel comfortable having meaningful conversations with their managers about training and growth opportunities. If that’s not the case, please reach out to your Human Resources contact — they’re truly there to help. Your success and fulfillment at CTA are top priorities, and if you’re not feeling that’s the case at this time, please come chat.

Great People - Great Company

Pros

This is a place where you can create your own path. It's an ask for forgiveness - not for permission kind of culture. You're given all the leash you want...and then some. A really talented group of people...without the ego. A larger firm, without the typical corporate hierarchy and roadblocks. Great people who help and support one another.

Cons

Everyone has a voice and decisions are made by consensus (not cons), but it results in change happening less quickly then you sometimes want it to.
