Pros

It's located outside of the Seattle area. The office managers work hard to make things fun for holidays and stuff.

Cons

The whole company has this low level of stress caused by generally poor management resulting in very tight deadlines, last minute changes, and incredibly poor communication. People are treated only as valuable as their output. My role after was so much better. Being treated as a person and no longer dealing with high stress/playing politics made such an improvement in my job satisfaction. It's a miracle anyone has stayed there without realizing there are greener pastures at pretty much any other job.

Pros

They used to provide bagels on Fridays. Ended with the pandemic

Cons

Low pay, constantly changing insurance plans, shame from managers when planning vacation time, poorly managed priorities, "old guard" resistant to change.

Pros

Exciting Products (high end entertainment and control systems for VIP aircraft) Large variety of work, fast paced Diversified and interesting co-workers Good location for commute and nearby cost of living

Cons

Huge disconnect in vision, planning and execution between management and employees Constant and unexpected changes, leading to conflicts in prioritizing; planning group does not plan, only micro manage fires to be put out. High turn-over, and unexpected layoffs of long-tenure employees leads to a horrible lack of knowledge transfer and gap of ability to support existing products and designs. Very low morale due to all of the above, creating the feeling of a "white collar sweat shop".
