      Team you work for decide your environment. Some teams middle and senior management runs the company as a mom and pop store rather than a a corporate company.

      No opportunity for promotion unless you suck at your job, no reward for loyalty, no reward for excellent work, performance appraisals have no effect on raises, no bonuses, no specific job duties and new duties are added when upper level management decides they either don't want to complete the task or don't know how.
