Opportunity to work with one of the brightest minds in the company especially with engineers from erstwhile Spansion Inc.New CEO is more action oriented and futuristic.

Cons

1. Lowest compensation for entry-level and mid-level engineers. 2. No appreciation for real work. Only marketing and sales guys get the credit 3. HR department is unaware of the current salary trend in market. They use some 1980's salary spec. 4. Cypress managers from outside location who recently moved to Bay Area should have an open mind and stop promoting their former colleagues alone. 5. Highly demotivated environment to work. Projects gets scrapped often and deadline miss are very common.

Company culture was most toxic I've ever experienced. Technology was like stepping back to 1980's. Manual processes and outdated systems. Long hours with little or no bonuses. CEO had no filter and hurled expletives at company wide meetings, egomaniac.
