Pros

-Flexibility: My schedule has been filling up without having to open up nights and weekends. -Compensation -Support: I feel supported, but I am also not being constantly asked to prove or alter my work in a way that feels unsupportive. As a licensed clinician, I don't want my work steered in a direction that is beneficial for the company instead of the client (I have unfortunately seen this in the past at different orgs). -LOC: After working at higher levels of care in the past, I am finding the population so refreshing and rewarding to work with. I have been finding that most clients I am paired with are a good therapeutic fit.

Cons

-This is not a con necessarily, but I am unsure of what performance incentives (raises) or growth within the company look like. -This is also not a company problem, but I am noticing that some clients want resources that are beyond this level of care.

Pros

Better than average pay rate for a group practice. Lots of clients, I was pretty much full after a month from the start date.

Cons

In April 2022 they switched to a new videochat software/scheduling system called Mend that is very slow and convoluted. I end up having to do a third of my sessions on the phone because client's internet connection isn't good enough for Mend's requirements. There are lots of icons everywhere on the screen which is distracting and affects our presence with each other. Developing connection and focus over videochat is challenging enough without a whole bunch of icons littering the screen. Providers and clients cannot minimize their own screen which means you both end up looking at yourself part of the time instead of being present. Clients are often frustrated with Mend and the service team tells them use a laptop for better connection but many are not able to. You have to manually delete every individual appointment if someone terminates. You get no notifications if someone cancels (they say they're working on that feature). It's just not a well designed system. Cyti has not sent out a survey since Mend started to ask us our input so we can't give feedback about the problems. We also have to use a secondary EHR to bill. It's tedious to have two systems to navigate instead of one integrated program.

Pros

Better pay than average, autonomy.

Cons

Mend, the new platform for the video sessions, scheduling, and other administrative functions, is bad. It seems to take a great deal of bandwidth, so many clients' do not have sufficient internet speed to prevent lag or outright disruption. The back office staff are hit and miss, there are a few that are very good, but many seem quite unhelpful and less than knowledgeable.
