No work life balance at all.
2 daily stand-up meetings early mornings and late evening , and you are supposed to complete the task which you are working on last evening before the next day stand-up meeting.
Apart from stand-up meetings, throughout the day you will get the ping asking the status of the task you are working on, and the worst part is if you are facing any technical difficulty, you cannot explain or ask help as the seniors as they are non-technical, just familiar of MS Excel. (All seniors hardly do anything except scolding / shouting and marking the task as Done or pending)
Technical Architect hardly attend any meetings and discussions and answer your queries, no documentation for any of the projects , code is the only asset they have.
As you have to debug and find /understand everything you end up spending hell lot of time.
If you have started working on a task on Friday evening , immediately Monday morning you get to hear that the task is open since last week , I want you to close this in next half an hour.
Working on weekends and holidays.
Managers will shout on you in stand-ups if any of your tasks is pending without listening to you if there is any dependency or a technical challenge.
You will get to hear “DON’T COME UP WITH PROBLEMS , YOU ARE THERE TO SOLVE THEM”
No matter which technology expert you are , management expectation is every language is same with just different keywords, you should adapt it immediately.
Immediate escalation if you are not able to deliver a task ,on the other hand no appreciation if you work late night , or weekends or if you finish any task before the expected time.
This toxic environment will badly hammer your family life and health. Sorry for the long review but think twice before you jump in.
