Pros

Good for uni student has the roster is quite flexible. Good to get some income while you are looking for a better job.

Cons

No direct instruction of what to do around the shop, you will expect to get yelled at from the managers if they think you've done wrong. The managers do not communicate with staffs and expect you to know what they want you to do. Too many managers and it's really hard to follow who wants what. Don't turn up late, even though 1 min can get you into deep trouble.

Pros

Other staff are generally quite nice. Easy work.

Cons

They do not care about or value emoloyees. Pressured to meet sales goals with no incentives or rewards. No break room. Expected to sit on the ground in the dirty stock room. Everyone is hired as a casual and they will cut your shifts and block your messages and calls without warning rather than firing you. Hard work and dedication are ignored in favour of popularity. People with the most shifts are the ones that suck up to the manager rather than those that work hard and effectively. Never accept a job for a new store. They hire way more people than they need so they can open the store quickly then cut all the shifts. Management are incompetent and seem miserable with their job. WH&S was breached multiple times with people bleeding and bruised during set up and not allowed medical attention. People that went home due to exhaustion and being overworked were never rostered on again.
