Over half of company's field engineers are here on Work Visa's from India.(about 90 FSEs) The company pays these engineers poorly, even though they do their jobs well, have the experience, and do what they are asked. Company also changed their overtime policy quite underhanded at the start of the year. They announced the change of pay at the end of January, but then after looking at paychecks, they actually changed it at the beginning of January without telling anyone. They now advertise time and a half on weekends, but this is not accurate, based on a 40hr work week. Account management have zero technical experience and are given too much power in engineering work. This is not their fault, it is a company problem. No factory training given, only in house. No way to work your way up in the company as a field engineer. CEO has created environment of everyone being scared to say anything. Not paid any extra for being on-call. High deductible insurance plan.
