Business Outlook
Pros
- Flexible schedule for time off / vacations. - Plenty of people to complain with about your job and the company . This was 80% of most lunch time conversations when I was there. - Job security for AM role, couldn't say the same for the Sales roles. They can't fire you because they need all the AMs they can find.
Cons
- Terrible support and communication structures. - Being on call was the absolute worse. Even with the increase in pay to perform the after hours on-call rotation, it was not worth it. People would pay extra to other AMs to take their shift. - High turnover rate, so you are taking on and adjusting your work responsibilities and region.
