Salary is okay with cost of living raises plus step increases. Not enough to live comfortably in the city but better than most districts in the US. You make a difference in the lives of kids and families that need it the most.

Inequity in resources, policies, and experiences across the district Unrealistically high expectations and demands High stress environment and not much work/life balance Some superiors on power trip, out to get you or see you fail instead of lifting you up
