      High-quality professional teachers who care about their work and are supportive of each other.

      Cons

      A rigid, out-of-date, curriculum and over-emphasis on testing and data-collection that neither helps students nor trusts teachers to be the professionals they are. Duplicative reporting platforms that illogically pair the 100 point scale with standards. Using online apps and screen time to magically remediate student knowledge loss while urging teachers to accelerate and test. Expecting teachers to be teachers, subs, counselors, and much more when we are trying to handle the same Covid traumas as the kids. Poor supervision and evaluation program that feels more “gotcha” than mentoring.
