Pros
A lot of your peace and enjoyment of your job depends on your supervisor. When I was hired I had a great boss that you could sit down and talk to about any problem you had. She was very fair and understand, if you were wrong she would calmly explain why so that you understood. Co-workers were willing to help you and it was a good work atmosphere.
Cons
After the first boss retired, the second one was as different as daylight and dark. if she didn't like you, you knew right off. She took one look at me and everybody knew she didn't like me. I never knew why, but one time she ask me to teach her my job. I was trained in 5 different areas so I figured she didn't like me because I knew more than she did.
