Thanks for sharing your experiences at DCP, flexibility and trust is part of our culture that we’ve worked hard to build. We continue to provide frequent updates to our employees, including a weekly CEO update to help everyone understand the challenges we are going through together. 2020 has proved challenging and series of unprecedented black swan events has created a volatile market. The executive team has worked to pull every lever we can to control costs, conserve cash, and prepare us for a sustained period of low demand and increased supply. The difficult decision to reduce our workforce was made to ensure our long term viability. If we could have made a different decision, we would have done so.

Pros

Interesting work, flexible schedule, good benefits, decent pay, and you get to work with some great people. Overall a decent place to work early in your career, there are a lot of managers the provide really impactful mentorship.

Cons

Disorganized. A lot of red tape, it takes forever to get things done. There is a huge disconnection between the people making the money, and the people managing the money. Upper management constantly communicates the company vision (which is innovative and promising) in a series of buzzwords. In all my time there, I was never able to get a straight answer as to what the path is to meeting that vision. If you don’t believe me, read the responses to all the reviews on here... you’ll see the same buzzwords over and over. That’s the level of clarity of the DCP vision to a large majority of employees. As a side note, there are a few cliques that definitely pay to be a part of. If you aren’t in with the right group, it is difficult to get any meaningful recognition.

The recruitment process was top notch at DCP, they were very timely and informative. I delt with the senior recruiter and she was awesome to work with and answered all of my questions.
