      Pros

      After having worked in the beauty industry for more than 5 years, coming to DECIEM was definitely refreshing. They value their people, their opinions and their time more than I have ever seen elsewhere.

      Pros

      DECIEM has extremely supportive management, has great training and development opportunities, and has a mission and product that is easy to stand behind. Perks are fantastic as well, makes you feel really appreciated!

      Cons

      Nothing really! Management being interstate is a bit of a pity but I still feel supported and they check in consistently.

      Still pinching myself

      * Great Work/Life Balance * Vacation/Personal days from Day 1 * No emphasis on "hustle-culture" * Worderful values (with follow-through!) * Incredible teams and people who are passionate about their positions and our product range * DIVERSE teams and people (who are also in upper roles) * Beautiful Office / Location with the ability to work hybrid (role dependent) * Integrated culture

      I don't have many, and I thought I might after not being in a corporate environment for several years + with ELC takingover more of the company. I think that DECIEM is in the midst of working out the change that comes with becoming a part of ELC's umbrella. With that, comes pain points, and a lot of change in between, so, it's not really a "con" per se, more of a heads-up that we are a "work in progress" in terms of team integration and communication. I personally thrive in that sort of environment, but a head-up to the people who don't. Growth can be tricky depending on direction, experience, and company needs, but they are quite transparent about that, and growth conversations are integrated regularly whether upwards or lateral. If you can work with that, you'll be great! Some positions require 1-3 years before you can move in the company.
