Pros

Amazing opportunities to learn new technologies and customers. The company invests in the growth and development of associates. Global reach and cross-cultural collaboration. Competitive benefits and pay.

Cons

Sometimes the industry requires extreme work hours. Some managers are upward-focused and do not focus on the growth and development of their team members.

Pros

401k + company matching up to 6%. Good vision and Dental insurance. The health insurance is not as good as it was before they switched to United Healthcare. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan insurance we had last year was a lot better. Raises every 6 months until you top out. Life insurance and the company gives you $50,000 of life insurance for free if memory serves me. It may be less but I believe that is correct. The ability to move around to different departments after you’ve been there for 6 months and there are plenty of departments to choose from. Although I do not recommend Tx for anyone.

Cons

The worst thing about working for Denso are the people working there and their drama they keep stirred up. 2 faced, back stabbing, cut throat people who will break their neck to run to leadership to tell on you for every little thing instead of showing you the proper way to do something and help out a so-called team member. Or worse they will go to Leadership and lie on you which happened to me personally on 2 occasions. And the Leadership there are very bad for showing favoritism and if one of their little pets lies on you and it’s your word against theirs you don’t have a fair chance in the situation. From what I saw Leadership fostered that type of behavior and causes division and resentment among team members instead of bringing people together and growing a strong team. But I saw several use that method of nitpicking and tattle telling on their peers to receive brownie points from the leaders and got promoted that way. The leaders in my department also talked down to the associates like they were children and were stupid instead of treating them with respect and showing appreciation for them showing up every day and busting their humps to meet production. And if you think about trying to explain your point of view you get threatened with a write up even though Leadership says they are there to help you. One of the leaders has been in the department for 2 years and still can’t fix a simple override because he never gets up from his desk but the leaders are supposed to spend 80% of their time observing. How can you observe the lines when you never leave your desk? Everyone on the production floor has to wear a hairnet even men who are completely bald but the people who work in the cafeteria serving the food do not. And even though they make people who are bald wear hairnets the majority of men have these big long bushy beards looking like someone off of Duck Dynasty but they are not required to wear beard nets. And if you bring something up to leadership that doesn’t make any sense their go to response is “we don’t make sense, we make car parts.” And lastly, I had my personal property stolen on 3 different occasions and they did nothing to look into it. I saw several other women complain about having their items stolen as well especially out of the 203 locker room. So I would recommend keeping any and everything locked up in your locker or better yet your car.
