Pros

DENSO has effective engineering mechanisms because of its Japanese origin. Great for learning governance controls and rigorous design & development.

Cons

Bad leaders are placed in the middle layer competing for their promotions while stepping on the people below. Creates a toxic environment and lack of future direction.

Pros

Nihonggo training. Average salary for entry level employees. Always hiring.

Cons

Tenure based promotion (bell curve basis, because the company is cost cutting). Excessive company bond (6moths to 2years after training or business trip). Most skills acquired are company specific and may not be suitable to be added on resume. Hype company events but minimal to no increase for actual employees. Management considered company renovation as increase for employees. Management always flaunt facilities and relationship with japan to visitors, yet they minimally flaunt something related to technology even though this is a tech company. Time tracker based work on a minimum 8.75 hr shift so there is no point in finishing tasks early. No worklife balance due to strict deadlines and poor management. Illogical security measures (not allowing phone use for employees inside company except japanese managers). Management would often say don't chase salary but chase career but actually the opportuinity for career here is to be only as outsource for jaaapan. Admin and managers actually prioritize japanese employees and are bias to filipino employees. Some managers are gaslight kings and queens specially when you apply for leave. Some sections require to compesate leaves with overtime. Power tripping managers that are allowed to WFH yet they do not allow employees even with viable reasons. Some managers lack skill and have poor decision making, yet demand fast project completion from actual skillfull employees. Some managers credit grab from outputs of members yet they provide no support, Some managers are better suited with clerical and secretary work. Be careful because you might meet tom and jerry.
