Pros

The work life balance at DIAM Southfield is exceptional. This is a great company to start at straight out of college.

Cons

Application engineers at DIAM are simply liaisons that just pass information to the OEMs. The pay is low, furthering your education is not acknowledged, and there is not much room for advancement. Expat assignments are encouraged, but have very little rewards. .

Pros

Competitive pay & compensation. Excellent job security. Felt like work was making a noticeable difference... most of the time.

Cons

Processes inherited from Japan management grate. Lots of busy work for the sake of saying you did something instead of really doing it. Ex: Testing results deemed too hard to fix swept under the rug.
