Pros

- Solid Company - Good job security - Good benefits - Regular bonus but not very high - Fair management

Cons

Company dumps a lot of work onto their high performers with little extra compensation. Also is behind the times when it comes to technology. A lot of paper pushing.

Pros

- Toyota management style - They have never laid off employees - Job security - Great coworkers who work hard. Open office environment. - Management communicates with their groups. President wants to interact with people at all levels. - Non-union shop. Makes work much more efficient, and eases interactions.

Cons

- Long hours with little incentive. - Promotions are inconsistent between departments. - Promotions are generally based upon length of service instead of performance - Pay is mediocre for degree field.

Pros

Pay and benefits reasonable for Maintenance anyway, relatively clean and comfortable work environment compared to previous jobs,

Cons

Too much management, and too many of them have military background, doing thier best to create intimidating/ Gestopo like environment. Safety has gone berserk: another case of too many people with too little to do (other than make up new safety rules which have nothing to do with making the place safer). Non-union, and they use it to full adavange: it's become another case of 'it's who you know' if you want to move to a better position. Work hours are what ever they dictate, no ifs, ands or buts, and anything can change at a moments notice. They have a 'job posting program', but all to often it is bypassed, and whoever THEY want gets the position. There is a real maintenace/ production animousity here, so they all to often work AGAINST each other rather than WITH each other.
