      You have plenty of options due to size of organisation. DHL in almost every corner of the country allowing ease of relocation

      Given plenty of opportunities to step up and perform. Wealth of knowledge within global business. Huge variety of individuals within company.

      Cons

      Limited training provided. Sink or swim environment can become taxing after a while. Limited support from functional teams. Limited reward for high performance.

      Pros

      Education and training at times is good. Friendly and hardworking middle management. Great processes in place and is a very well structured company. Good with working on cost saving initiatives with customers which makes customer relationships work well, good for networking.

      Cons

      No real succession planning, hires to many graduates for middle management roles to keep the costs down and doesn't lift employees well. Often not well resourced, runs very lean. Pay increases are difficult to obtain. Pay below market value which isn't offset by other initiatives or incentives. Not overly innovative, plays safe.
