Pros

If you are into sports you are in a great environment, getting to work with sports clothes/equipment and co workers who also share those interests. 25% discount is okay. As an hourly worker you get to wear sport clothes and sneakers to work.

Cons

When it comes to pay they won't give hourly workers more than a 19% increase a year. It is frustrating working with people who do the least they possibly can and get paid the same amount as you. Managers notice hard work but won't help you get more pay. 90% of the workers are lazy, miss days, and do barely any work but mangers still do not get rid of them. If you like to stack off and do as little work as possible and not get in trouble I would apply here.

Pros

Sports. .. helping people get what they need to have fun or be the best. Seeing kids smile.

Cons

This place sucks the life out of you. Too much to do with very little payroll. The SSC comes up with things to do and expects miracles with no resources. If you have a family, say good bye to them. We change things way to much! Ed, when was the last time you or your team worked overnight for one of your many moves? Ed Stack and the senior team do not care about you at all. You are truly a number here and that number means 65 plus hours a week and often 6 to 7 days. As a Store Manager you'll never bonus. Ed and his team will. You on the other hand will never.

Pros

The new building and it's amenities are fantasic. The company has a great thing going with it's over all management and and direction. The benefits are fantastic. Health insurance is cheap, but great coverage, the bonuses are fantastic and average 15-20% (for all levels of employment and is based on company performance).

Cons

Software development is lacking and has only one director that has ever worked with Software before. The software development department refuses to follow any industry best practices because their mantra is "We are not IT, we sell gym shorts." Minor gripe - Business casual dress code (IE No Jeans).
