Pros

Remote. I really liked the program used and actually, my job, because I was very efficient and good at what I did.

Cons

Severely underpaid. Ended up doing other people's work. When India almost lost them Enterprise, I was on the small team that brought them back. Received one raise in the almost 4 years there and it was to offset the insurance I was now having to pay for as the company DISA purchased had provided our health insurance at no cost to us. They liked to re-arrange supervisors and put micro-managers in charge and most the time, they didn't even know proper information.

Pros

Remote work . 11 off holidays

Cons

This company made a disappointing decision by laying off an entire department, reportedly to outsource their work to India. This action not only affected many employees but also raised concerns about the company's commitment to its workforce and the potential impact on service quality.

Thank you for sharing your experience working at DISA. We’re glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with remote work and our holiday schedule. As DISA continues to grow and evolve, we understand that department change can be difficult and create uncertainty. Over the last 3 years, we have doubled our overall employee count. Our international teams have grown, but our US teams account for approximately 75% of that growth. We remain committed to our US teams and to strengthening our processes across all regions. As we grow, we are focused on improving collaboration and recognition for all employees across DISA. DISA continues to invest in our people, technology, and processes to ensure we meet the needs of clients and employees. Additionally, we have exciting initiatives in progress around career pathing, leadership development, and upskilling team members. Our commitment to our workforce and to maintaining strong service quality remains a priority. We appreciate your dedication over the past five years and your willingness to share both the positives and the challenges. If you’d like to discuss anything further, we encourage you to reach out directly to your HR Business Partner.
