Horrible pay compared to same roles at other companies, no raises last year, mediocre benefits, profit sharing is gone, strictly anti WFH, you have to clock in and out and arrive by 9 AM (they treat you like children and care more about keeping you in the building for 40+ hours than getting results), incompetent senior leadership, lack of job security / layoffs aren't uncommon / bankruptcy danger in 2026, lack of consistent vision and morale due to high turnover, disorganized and menial ad-hoc work.

Some customers are extreme cat lovers 20+ and you have to keep a straight face. The managers are a pain because most of them were hired outside of dish instead of moving up from a technician. Dish pushes you to sell stuff like surround sound and TV mounts, most customers hated but it is what it is.
