Small Agile Company built on high quality people and a quality reputation
Pros
Known for quality products. You need competent people to build quality products. I like the small and agile nature of the company, you are not lost in the crowd. Meaning responsibility for work is assigned and held to account. You work with quality / competent people. You can't produce quality any other way. Leadership is transparent about the opportunities and challenges that the company faces. No surprises. No telling you one thing that isn't meant or followed up on. Thoughtful leadership focused on long term health of company and employees.
Cons
Pros/Cons are area "depends" answer. So much depends on the individual, the perspective and the situation. For me I'm not a fan of fully remote work. (i love the convenience, but miss the human interaction). If you need the human interaction, have a plan to supplement. Depending on the department you may travel ALOT. (you have to go to where the work is right). This is OK for some people, but not for everyone. Be honest with yourself on travel expectations, and be sure you understand the requirements of the role. The flip side is you can pretty much live where you want, which can be good for the family.
