Pros

Ability to work across multiple projects, companies and industries Fast paced environments, working on both project and interim finance and accounting needs for clients Great pay and incentives Opportunities for furthering your professional education (company will pay for relevant certifications)

Cons

As with most companies, economic downturns can affect the business as a whole; as expected in the client services industry.

Poor compensation, no career growth

Pros

Work is easy, that’s it

Cons

Compensation is significantly below market, and pay raises are pennies. In 2021-2022, when people were jumping jobs for 20-30% increases and inflation rampant, DLC gave 5% and less. The following year, they “delayed” all pay increases and no bonuses. Career growth is of no concern to leadership. As someone who was a top performing Manager at one of the Big 4, then held a controller position at a public company, they put me on an engagement as a senior accountant doing bank recs. Leadership is clueless, and spends too much time on “check the box” DEI initiatives (a category I fall into) with no results, instead of managing the business
