A well established company and a beginner will get more exposure towards the the port field. Its a prestige to work in such a big company.

Cons

Management is not caring that much about employees. An autonomous type ruling from the superiors and HR department is worst. No option for expressing the employment problems.

Pretty good job stability in a sector where in the last year thousand of jobs have been lost globally.

Cons

People are not promoted on fair conditions. People don\t stand a chance being promoted. Employees merits are not fairly recognized. Managers take all the credit for the tasks/jobs performed by the regular employees and most of the times they don't have a clue about the things being done within their department. There is no support for the valuable employees, incompetents being appointed in management positions.
