      Pros

      Good schedule, bonuses are decent enough. Management is competent and actually does what it can to help succeed.

      Cons

      Generac corporate adds on additional tasks and responsibilities for us with no added compensation regularly. Takes away from our time selling our own products where we make commission and can sell warranties for extra money. The commission rate itself could be better.

      Pros

      Worked with some truly great people. Felt like I had a voice. True open door policy among executives.

      Cons

      Difficult to progress. There are way too many hurdles to actually improve yourself. I asked for additional training and was told I missed the window for it and would have to wait a full year. I asked what my career path looked like and never got a straight answer. Ended up doing repetitive work mostly with not much value added.

      Pros

      none, used to get decent product discounts but no more.

      Cons

      butt kissers win every time, whole place full of backstabbing people who will throw you under the bus in search of a compliment from management. Management totally out of touch with what is going on with the grunts, too busy kissing backsides at the parent company. Used to be a good company with solid Vermont values, now it's all about the bottom line and kicking someone in the teeth to get ahead.
