Used to be great. Now the company management has started to sink the ship.
Pros
-Free soda (except only select employees are allowed in the building). -Free gym (except it's closed). -Free Pie Day (except we can't be in the building to enjoy it). -Free "Disk Golf course and Basket Ball court"... Oh, you mean the 1 portable basketball hoop and 1 portable disk golf basket because they let an employee take the other one home? DRB Systems used to be a great place to work. Great benefits, great bonus opportunity, 401k matching, etc. Now our prescription insurance is literally "This app called GoodRX will be your best friend" as HR put it. Or for high-cost prescriptions you can use ShaRX, but only after you give them 2 years of detailed tax returns and medical history, prescription history, home expenses, etc. I'd rather be audited by the IRS. There is no 401k matching. They cut salaries for any employee who wasn't furloughed.
Cons
They let go of a lot of employees due to the pandemic. They put another 45 on furlough for at least 1.5 months. They would rather let go of loyal and dedicated employees who were with the company 20+ years than get a loan to hold things together during a struggling economic period. HR Recently sent an email to select staff asking them for "Honest and Candid reviews on Glass Door" that would "Help fight the negative reviews that were recently posted". The "Negative" reviews are all truthful and accurate representation of the current state of the company.
