Pros

They demand excellence, so it's a great place to learn to be a teacher and a professional. TCP does allow a good teacher to advance quickly in salary, as compared to other DPS jobs. Really close and committed faculty members!

Cons

Data points used for TCP- they aren't fair between content areas. There's a very tight definition of what a leader is, and it forces people out. They don't innovate their system to actually coach teachers.

Pros

DSST takes care of its teachers, as it knows that it asks a great deal of them. In addition, they truly keep the interests of the students and their achievement at the heart of everything they do.

Cons

DSST definitely asks a great deal of its teachers. All of this is definitely for the best of the students, but it certainly wears on the teachers.
