Pros

Salaries (including bonuses) and benefits are decent but are on the decline.

Cons

Culture is getting worse. Used to be a great place to work but it's getting more like a sweat shop mentality. Senior Management is a joke. Bias exist. Promotions are very difficult to come by. Very political. Career opportunities are minimal.

Pros

Nice location across the Harbor, close to Newport Mall

Cons

HR turns a bind eye to the antics of management. Favoritism in promotions is rampant. I was afraid I would get Hepatitis from all the people that do not wear deodorant. Extremely long hours due to poor staffing and poor training. Work is duplicated, incomplete, and often just does not make sense. This company excels at window dressing to get you inside the role then abandons you unless you are a few of the old boys. I am sorry I spent 1 year of my life here.

Pros

If you have positive things to say, HR wil respond to your post

Cons

DTCC under Frank LaSalle has gone downhill. You are treated, even in management, like you are in grade school, complete with "taking attendance". If you read the reviews, they are largely negative but yet HR is only responding to the ones that cast this organization in POSITIVE light. If an executive asks you to work on a weekend (not your normal shift), you have to fight for compensatory time, and then get chastised for working during the weekend (like you had a choice) Medical insurance went up this year, they "care" about your mental health but fight you on needing to take days for mental health, and schedule "meditation time" knowing full well that no one has the available time to meditate. They do not help neurodivergent or people sensitive to sound by obtaining one of the quiet rooms, but instead put them on the floor where it is loud & they cannot function, and will then complain about productivity is down or work quality is poor but conveniently forget you can't function with distractions. They are SOOOO concerned about viruses and eventual covid relapse that they have "open seating" instead of assigned desks, so God-forbid you sit in a desk today that was occupied by someone yesterday just diagnosed with covid. If you have a disability, they won't assign you a desk, so good luck keeping your chair or other material (and if you need a specialized chair, you can't bring one in.... it has to match to motif and if it is too expressive, they won't supply one which is an ADA violation they conveniently ignore). You may be the only one from your team in your location(state) but yet you are still expected to be in the office "in case your team needs to stop by and ask a question". Frank LaSalle is arrogant and doesn't care anything about his employees and only wants to hear himself talk, effectively saying in a corporate town hall, angrily, that he will "No longer talk about the in office days, so don't bring it up or ask". Company/ employee morale is down.
