Please beware and move to different area/manager before (its too late) you became victim of disgusting game. Consultants & Employees staying longer form network to get rid of new talented people if you are qualified than them. Few support staffs are irresponsible and treat employees poorly, since they report to someone else in US (not local) and being there from the beginning. Have to wait too long for promotions, while devious people gets promoted easily. Yes boss type people can enjoy here, the most creative people can't survive. HR dump you with the lowest salary if you don't negotiate well.
