Pros

People treat me with respect here, they generally hire smart people, my hours are regular and can be accommodating, and I am compensated very fairly.

Cons

DTE buys way too much into the Gallup survey. It is misused, with management's evaluations being influenced by responses, therefore leading to employees not filling it out honestly.

Pros

Co-op pay is higher than minimum wage, but lower than the industry average for the same position.

Cons

Finance Co-op, Summer 2015, in less than 24 hours was fired with no warning for posting "insider" publicly available information. Moreover, the termination was within three weeks of my last day. My access to the database was quicly revoked, restricting me from entering my final time card. No manager had the decency to enter my final hours or ask me via phone. Pros

Depending on your manager it can be a very great career experience. Good work life balance. Somewhat diverse group. Great for Mid Career level professional.

Cons

Too much emphasis on Image (Continous Improvement, and other metrics that management perceives as important than on actual work force output efficiency), career growth is very very limited if this is your first job out of college I would think twice about It except you have a manager that is In your corner or interested in your development. Salary and compensation are only comparable to companies in Michigan (which is not anywhere fantastic at all) There is also a lot of favoritism if you are not in the right circle you might as well start looking elsewere cause your career's progression is next to nothing.
