Pros

it's a stable company. Very few layoffs. Recent staff reductions only through attrition. Benefits are pretty good. Pay is comparable to other jobs in the area.

Cons

It's a big, boring company. Lots of attempts to improve business processes without avail. Huge rework of company databases a few years ago left us with a system that's only so-so, at best.
