Pros

Excellent pay and Boss is the best I've ever had.

Cons

Could use better work truck do to crane malfunctions and over all wear, but have faith it will be addressed.

Pros

I went to work for DXP after working in the grocery business for 30 years. It was completely new to me and my boss and everyone else at this company are amazing. They train you with patience and kindness. Everyone is very helpful, and I picked the right company to finish out my working career.

Cons

The only thing I could think of saying is maybe have the new employee shadow another employee for a week or two to get them established. Give them the time they need to learn how to do their job. Thats how you will retain the employee and also help them grow into another position and maybe take your job when you retire. You want to equip your employees, so they don't get frustrated and want to quit. That is the one thing I have learned over the years in management. I got help here and there but I have had to figure out a lot of things by myself. I'm ok with that but I know a lot of people won't want to do that.

Pros

The leadership is good and does a good job of letting us know we are appreciated. The people are all willing to help when needed. Even the service department will show us the inner working of the pumps we sell. We stay busy and it was almost too much when I started but getting better with our new hires. Hard work is rewarded in the ways that matter most.

Cons

Our internet is not sufficient to operate our Zoom phone system and operating system, causing dropped calls and waiting for screens to load. Part numbers are deleted all the time and the time it takes to have it undeleted is ridiculous. It can take a day to get a quote to a customer depending on what needs to be done to get a part number made or undeleted. Finding the correct vendor ID to use can be complicated.
