Pros

Very committed to culture and core values. Mission is solid, and the work we do for our patients is noble. DaVita as a whole is a reputable corporate citizen, and contributes significantly to our communities. Endless growth and development opportunities for those who want it. Every teammate can attend Academy, which is a 2-day indoctrination into the DaVita way (it's actually really cool) We honestly strive to do the right thing. They encourage fun at work, and I do appreciate that.

Cons

This place works it's teammates to death and doesn't pay accordingly. Annual merit increases are a joke, and work life balance is a myth. Turnover is incredibly high, and those who stick around suffer from it. DaVita has the potential to truly be something different and special, but they've got some things they need to figure out first. They also have an unusually high number of Mormons in key leadership positions-not sure what that's about. They also push new initiatives and programs at a breakneck pace. It's absolutely exhausting.

Pros

Most teammates are great workers and people. The building are very clean and neat well maintained for their age. We do has some great activities

Cons

Low pay. Leadership does not do what they say non practicing of the core values. They have created a culture of fear. If you are in the wrong click you may not be around long. Leadership manages by survey , town hall box. Peoples services has too much control , they have to be present in every meetings, must approve any and all ideas, down to what food selection is brought in for team huddles.

Pros

Most over your co-workers are great to work with (non-management).

Cons

Management treats their employees like they are children. You're expected to do so much but are also forced to participate in so many time wasting meetings and activities that never accomplish anything except wasting your time. Management has created a wage cap so that after being in a position for a certain time period you don't get raises anymore. They tell you that it's a Davita practice but after confronting People Services (H.R.) you're told that it's not a standard practice. After management is caught in the lie they dance over the subject and try to pretend they weren't lying to your face. With the increase of benefit costs and low to little raises given every year you find that each year you make less than the previous. It sickens me that such horrible people are promoted to management and I have lost all sense of pride for the work that I do. I would sooner tell people that I'm a garbage man or a janitor.
