      Pros

      I enjoyed the friendly and professional work environment. People treated each other with respect. Good place to work.

      Cons

      The pay for most of the positions is very low compared to other colleges with similar positions. People worked there for many years and would apply to other positions to make a little more money. If people left it was usually because of the low pay.

      Raise the Parking Stipend!

      Pros

      Amazing students. They are willing to learn and put in the work. They are the reason why I teach and enjoy my field.

      Cons

      The parking, the parking and the parking. I work at the downtown campus and it's ridiculous how Adjuncts only get $100 for a semester. Parking is constantly going up. On average, I will pay $10-12 a day. There is cheaper parking but it's several blocks away from campus and with the heat and the creepy people by the train station, I cannot do it. Plus many of the cheaper parking lots only have space for like 7 cars and they fill up fast. I've been teaching since 2014 and the stipend is still the same. They say it's the budget. I have plenty of students who drive and not use the free dart pass. That could be why the enrollment has gone down over the years. In addition, please make more full time positions in the humanities and not just stem. There are courses that are mandatory but we are not considered as important.

      Working with students is great, there is quite a bit of flexibility as an adjunct.
