Business Outlook
Pros
Before becoming Dallas College, the seven campuses were an amazing place to work. With a diverse student body and welcoming colleagues, it was wonderful. This is no longer the case.
Cons
The Chancellor and new Administration care little for faculty, be they full-time or adjunct. The focus, it seems, is to turn Dallas College into a for-profit style institution, in which faculty are not consulted or heard, but interchangeable cogs. Every decision made as part of the restructuring to "One College" has ignored faculty concerns and, despite the language used, is fundamentally non-student-focused.
