I enjoyed working for Dallas College. The hours were flexible and pay was fair.

Cons

After they merged into a single college, it was harder to get classes to teach.

Flexibility. There used to me more but that’s what is left after years of poor management and bad communication.

Cons

It’s now run like a corporation that is trying to “rightsize” (aka squeeze everything it can from overworked faculty and staff until they’re burned out). Managers make promises and leave the college for different jobs before fulfilling what they promised. HR takes ages to respond to employees and gives inconsistent information when it does respond. Students are treated as though they’re all able to take a full course load and not work. Clubs are now difficult to start.
