There is a culture flaw in this Danish company, whereby only leadership holding either Danish or German passports are allowed to bring large orders to the finish line. Local sales management is pushed to the side while leadership holding Danish or German passports sweep in to capture the big orders. Also, leadership in Germany and Denmark ignores the experience of North American sales management. They will look you in the eye and tell you that your experiences did not happen. These two flawed cultures drove me away from Danfoss.

Cons...oh boy is there a lot to speak of here. Let us start off with the former pro, hours. As stated before you will rake in the hours. Burnout is a serious thing. Your co-workers are burned out, which affects everyone's job performance. Being that the warehouse plays a vital role in how many motors the two lines are capable of building on any given day, there is plenty of pressure and no understanding given from management to low-level workers. Inevitability, you are going to need some time off. Good luck with that. More than likely, you will be forced to bite the bullet and rack up points. We are humans, and sometimes life demands you take off, for example, a family emergency during your shift dictates you were having to, unfortunately, take the rest of the shift off. Upon your return, you will be asked if the emergency was faked. Want some time off for a vacation? The good ole boy situation is intense with this company, so if the good ole boys had their vacation, then you may take yours. The next con is opportunity. There is little to no opportunity to speak of. You, as an individual, will need to keep up with your accumulated points and your expected paid evaluation date. Nobody and I repeat nobody has ever received their paid evaluation on time. My last raise was three months past overdue, which I never received. Management is mediocre at best. This is to include HR. HR will "listen" to your eventual issues, but it's like talking to my seven year old. In one ear and out the other. They will give you false hope just to get you to be quiet and leave. Managment...if you want to call it that. There is a supervisor who will make you the black sheep no matter how dedicated you are to the team or your job responsibilities. He will bring up family matters; he will talk to you unprofessionally, he will see to it that your life becomes a living hell and run you into the ground. He is so bad that his treatment to employees has moved him to other sections and you guessed it, the warehouse. Don't bother going to HR; they were about as effective as my seven-year-old. Nothing will get accomplished. Ultimately, its factory work. Its loud, messy, hard manual labor. Nothing new as far as work around here goes, but you are reading this review gain insight into your new potential job. All I can tell you is this, work for Danfoss. It's an excellent company to work for. However, stay clear of the warehouse inventory clerk position! There are good people, great co-workers, and other great leadership in different sections. Stay clear of the warehouse.
