Pros

None, this company is a joke

Cons

Pros

Flexible work from home schedule.

Cons

-There is zero onboarding training. You will not be remotely prepared for your position after a few weeks. When/if you fail or. Drop the ball, that’s on you. Should’ve watched some generic training on SharePoint! -Good luck succeeding at the company if you do not publicly drink the Daniels Kool Aid. If you do, you’ll have an easy ride here. -the open concept office in Chicago leads to less working getting done because you cannot hear coworkers on the phone and it’s an awkward environment. -In my time I was at Daniels I saw most of my department fired without warning or quit. Account Management department has a 80% turnover from when I started. -Daniels claims there is a Customer Service Department but I assure you there isn’t. Customers get very upset when they end up calling into the Chicago Inbound Sales line. -High turnover in all corporate positions lead to an environment of mass confusion and a lack of accountability. -Pay is subpar at best and commissions are the lowest I’ve experienced at any job I’ve worked for. -Most people here are peak-city people. They live in a bubble and cannot relate to anyone outside of their world -HR is called People and Culture. Do I need to say more?

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience, we’re disappointed to hear that it did not meet your expectations but would like to take the time to address a few of your many concerns. We understand that your onboarding wasn’t as you anticipated, we also understand some individuals may need more training than others, so we continually encourage employees to communicate with their managers to ensure we can tailor our onboarding approach. It is hard to provide more of a specific response without better understanding the nature of your role as each has a different onboarding program applied. Regarding the open concept office, we appreciate that it may not be for everyone, we strive to accommodate everyone’s work-style with dedicated sound-proof pods, meeting rooms and flexible work from home schedules where role appropriate. In regards to our customer service department we currently have over 30 individuals across the country operating in these functions, and we work hard to avoid misdirected calls (as we acknowledge may happen from time to time). I read with concern the corporate disconnection you described, and whilst we appreciate your candid feedback it is an industry and area that we are passionate about, we don’t shy away from the very reasons Dan Daniels founded the company. He had a vision to make healthcare safer, the reality of this is not always pretty, infection control is in itself a challenging environment to operate within but it remains a place we wish to make a difference. The turnover concerns you highlight are misaligned with data I review weekly, after 13 years of service at Daniels I know our company is packed full of folk working extremely hard, giving mountains of discretionary effort to achieve something together. I take your feedback seriously and will take steps to address areas for improvement, we are committed to provide a better experience for our employees. If you have any additional insights or feedback, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I wish you the very best with your future endeavors – Jude Duff - CPO.
