Pros

- The first few months were great. - Sometimes, there is flexibility offered. - Some departments in the corporate office have good relationships.

Cons

- I was informed by a senior manager that Daniels does not provide annual raises; instead, you need to be promoted to increase your pay. If you expect regular pay raises based on market standards, you may want to consider other employers. - They offer only a limited number of federal holidays off. When questioning why certain holidays (specifically MLK Day & Juneteenth) were not observed by the company, a member of senior leadership commented that "some employees don't support that day," which raised concerns among the team. - Upper management's perceived lack of respect and multiple instances of inappropriate behavior both in and out of the office by members of leadership routinely made the team uncomfortable. - There's a practice where employees appear to be laid off, only for their position to be posted again the next business day, causing confusion among affected employees. - The company portrays itself as a family, but there are actual family relationships at the highest levels of management. This can complicate the resolution of issues within the company. - Gossip is prevalent and can create uncomfortable situations between departments.

Hello – Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you recognizing the flexibility that Daniels Health offers! That flexibility also extends to our floating holiday policy… The statement you referenced is highly inappropriate and does not align with Daniels culture. Whilst we cannot observe every day of significance, we recognize the importance of observing holidays that are important to our diverse team. Accordingly, we provide floating holidays for our employees to observe the days that are personal or meaningful to them. We are surprised to hear some of your concerns and would like the opportunity to address them. Contrary to this review, Daniels has also been fortunate to afford employees with annual increases based on performance. Daniels is committed to finding and developing the best talent. It is always unfortunate when we lose talent or the employee, we spend a significant amount of time and effort into developing. As such, terminations are conducted with just cause, following a thorough review and adherence to best practices. Transparently, a layoff would not result in the position being reopened. It is no surprise that Daniels started with a man and there are family ties within the business. But this does not change our values and culture of being bold and encouraging members to share their opinions. It is those who have been bold and brought innovative ideas that have contributed to Daniels success and seen growth within the company! We strive to ensure that all team members belong, feel comfortable and valued. I would appreciate you reaching out to a member of P&C, or management, or a senior leader you are comfortable with, to discuss your experience further. Regards, Jude Duff

Pros

Peers were lovely. Salary is good.

Cons

Leadership has no trust in staff and manage people through fear. Secretive and you will catch them in lies. Commission is terrible. They create comp plans they can't even manage.
