Pros

Coworkers were the main reason you stay here at Darden (my case is Olive Garden). Pay varies from night to night, you could make $200 one Saturday night, then make only $40 the next. Half off of food during your shift is a bonus. Overall friendly, non-competitive work environment between co-workers.

Cons

Incompetent management made working here difficult. Over my two year stay at my location, I had 9 different managers.

Pros

Flexible hours, good people for the most part and customers generally tip well. This is a perfect job for a college student to make some money without getting bogged down with too much work.

Cons

Depending on your schedule, working nights can result in closing late and getting home after midnight. This goes for any job as a server at a place that closes at 10 or 11pm; just takes some getting used to.
