Pros

This role is a gateway into the Cyber Security industry for those with no cyber or IT background. The first few months are a steep learning curve but there is plenty of resources and support from a friendly colleagues. As a cyber analyst, there is scope to contribute to product development, travel, meet customers, and support organisations in crisis within the first 18 months. As a self-starter I was able to create opportunities and progress quickly. In 5 years I have moved from junior, to product specialist, to team lead, to technical director. Quickly given lots of autonomy and responsibility. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into an exciting industry, in a young company with start-up vibes, and with the momentum of a market disruptor.
