Pros

Great acquisition strategy, lots of cash, smart people

Cons

Managers in North American have little to no authority, narcissistic culture, unhappy workforce due to win/lose negotiation style of French company with employees, customers and partners. Incentive compensation model is erratic, inconsistent and favors the corporation at the expense of employees. Not a win/win culture.

Pros

Highly innovative company with great strategic vision and extremely talented people. Excellent product and technology.

Cons

Very immature sales organization that doesn't know how to recruit or retain top sales talent. Culturally insensitive and arrogant corporate culture that forces french talking points that do not translate internationally. Marketing and branding organization is a joke. Executive committee is petty, immature, arrogant and disconnected with the tactical realities of running a business this size.

A company without a shred of integrity

Pros

- Matching 401k (at least for now...)

Cons

The company has mandated a forced return-to-office (RTO), regardless of how far employees live from the nearest office. Previously, the "50-mile rule" allowed employees living beyond that distance to qualify for remote work. However, that policy was quietly eliminated in August, just before the RTO announcement. When I reached out to HR for clarification, I was threatened with termination. I've worked for some questionable startups in the past, but nothing compares to the disappointment of working here. Despite their mission statement boasting about "sustainable innovations," they just put thousands of cars back on the road and ignored the damage this decision inflicts on employee well-being and mental health. I have no issue with a hybrid model, especially for those who live within a reasonable commuting distance. But enforcing this policy and demanding that employees who live like 90 miles away commute three days a week is not only absurd, it's reckless and downright unethical. The Legal department better be prepared because if any incidents arise from these long, unnecessary commutes, the company could face serious legal consequences—both civil and criminal.
