Horrible Company to work for...

Pros

Some of the people genuinely care about the company and the customers. Most don't...

Cons

COO and CEO are all about their EGO. They are looking for people to report to them that are "Yes" men and women. I was pushed out unfairly and then treated horribly. I have many emails from the CEO about my exceptional performance and skills. Yet I was pushed out because I didn't say "yes" all the time and had my own ideas. When I first started the Information Technology departments and their software was a mess, I transformed 7 departments in two years. Then all my credibility was instantly taken away by Dave the COO when the CEO forced me to report to him when he was my team mate. In fact when I started Dave was an EVP and I was the only other C level and I reported to the CEO. The COO and CEO over-promise to the clients and the employees are left with the mess and trying to deliver by being overworked.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Enjoy the work.

Cons

Understaffed which leads to long hours. Currently working 10 hour days and 8 on Saturdays with no end of this schedule in sight. Management blames the staff for the need to work on Saturdays claiming we take too many breaks. Maybe it is because we are exhausted from working endless 10 hour days. In the midst of all the long hours they set new tougher goals. Moving to other positions is difficult. Recently they posted jobs that were suppose to be filled internally. but then gave them to a bunch of people they hired 3 weeks earlier for a specific project that fell through. So these coveted higher paying positions went to brand new people. Moral is at an all time low.

Could be better...

Pros

Decent pay and benefits if you have no education beyond high school. Easy job with no stress as long as you keep to yourself.

Cons

Have to stand stationary the whole shift unless you have an excuse from a doctor. Favoritism at it's worse with little to no advancement opportunities. If you are offered an advancement opportunity you better take it because if you don't you won't be offered again.
