Pros

Data Dimensions is a awesome place to work. The people, the facilities, the pay is wonderful. Although some would say different I can honestly say they think of their employees first. They also have made a huge impact in the community. The number of charities and causes they support is outstanding. The recent layoff was unexpected. I know they will be doing all they can to bring more jobs back. Look at their history. I have worked here for more than 2 years and have seen first hand the growth. It's sad people were impacted but sometimes things like this happen. I trust in Data Dimensions and would not work any place else.

Cons

More frequent updates on how we are doing as a team or a company would be nice.

One of the best companies I've ever worked for

Pros

Employees and community members assume when layoffs happen at Data, it must be Data's fault. Data Dimensions is a 'services' oriented company, so if layoffs happen, it's due to a customer decreasing their workload. Data has created so many jobs within a community that so needed it. When a customer decreases their workload, staffing needs decrease. It's that simple. Sometimes contractual agreements dictate how much of a heads up employees get on when they will be laid off, how it's handled, etc. This last round of layoffs was the "client's" doings, not Data's. I am proud to work for a company that continuously tries to think of ways to make it a better place for their employees and do so much within the community. I feel bad for my laid off team members, but know that this company would never have done it unless they were forced to by reduced client workload. These layoffs are hard enough without all the unnecessary bashing going on in some of these reviews.

Cons

I am happy with my job and don't have any cons at this point.
