Pros
- Get to work with so many awesome people! (it's a shame that most of them do not stick around, and you only find out most of the time after they've left or been arbitrarily fired.) - Remote Life! (it's great if you're looking for work/life balance, but be sure to define boundaries with Leadership, or you'll be working non-paid overtime that they will barely acknowledge)
Cons
- No raises, no cost of living increases, no bonuses, no nothing. The number you get when you're hired in is what you get for the rest of your career unless you switch jobs or can make some deal with Leadership. - Benefits are pretty terrible and cover very little. - Absolutely no employee engagement of any kind. I hear if you're remote, you're pretty much a ghost outside of your actual deliverables or if someone decides to call you out via Kudos. - There are no opportunities for career development or training; you are on your own and paying for it out of pocket. - Complete lack of diversity and inclusion; I'm not sure how they got the score they have on Glassdoor when their entire leadership team is male and incredibly toxic. I agree with the Boys club/High School analogies mentioned in other reviews. - Unrealistic expectations from Leadership with all of the above. They talk a big game and expect everyone to work at the same level as a large-scale software company when in reality, we are hemorrhaging employees due to the sheer amount of stress and work that is thrown at their teams. Our company barely acknowledged the Pandemic outside of a couple of surveys and slack messages.
