      Pros

      Close to home, this was the final aspect of the engineering side of satellite communication for the Military.

      Cons

      Some of the challenges are lack of direction , engineering staffing for new product development, and documentation of in job processes.

      Pros

      My coworkers are good people. We try to keep our morale up as things around us change. Freedom of job.

      Cons

      Lack of training. Poor management/worker relations. There are certain people in managment that should be fired for ethical reasons. Another should be removed for not following government protocols for incidents. Benefits are lackluster for single employees. High deductible. Raises are minimal. No bonuses (for workers). Cashflow problems have been around for too long. Vendors/banks are losing faith. Upper end of HR seems to have an alternative agenda. Will take the company's side on all issues, even when morally/ethically wrong.

      Pros

      DataPath is a great company to start at for any Cyber Security Professional. You have access to numerous tools and there are people to learn from to help develop you, while you help develop the company

      Cons

      Quick turnover but this is something all SOCs deal with.
