Pros

Databricks has been a fantastic place to work for the past year. The culture is very inclusive and everyone feels like they're driving towards the same mission. We're really creating a lasting company and are making a difference for our customers. Hyper growth, exciting, and truly innovative. I couldn't be happier

Cons

You need to be ready for ambiguity and to move quickly. That comes with companies that are growing at the rate we are, but if you're prepared for that, it's really a pro. Just something to be aware of

Pros

Databricks has amazing leadership where I feel the CEO tells us how it is. No sugarcoating. We are positioned wonderfully in the market so the fear recruiters generally feel when reading about lay-offs elsewhere is not necessary. I am very happy about my base pay, I'm not micromanaged, and everyone we work with is super intelligent. I am really happy to work here!

Cons

Databricks is established but young - they seem to be open to making changes re: parental leave and other benefits BUT there is work to be done with hiring. Once brought up to leadership though, things tend to change which is great.

Pros

1. Great culture, very transparent, welcoming, respectful 2. Everyone seems very reasonable and willing to work towards fixing the problem; no one takes things personally. 3. High hiring bar which means that you work with other smart people 4. The company is building for long term which means that they think things through 5. Leadership is very approachable and listens to recommendations

Cons

1. Growing pains: lots of processes are still being defined and this could slow things down but at the same time it's exciting to be part of it
