Datadog is a company with racist mysoginistic leadership and I would not recommend it to anyone. Finance/Accounting team is so toxic and employees are treated unfairly and poorly. Promises much but disappointing once you've been there 12 months and the glamour wears off. High turnover! Stay far away!

Good product, salary and benefits

- UK Management has a toxic culture - No work life balance - Micromanagement - Management can’t be trusted (Two-faced) - Unfair account assignment (no chance to make your number) - Team colleagues just trying to survive and play the game till they hit their personal goals (commission/bonus/RSU’s) - Several good people already left (EAE, RSD and VP) - Don’t even apply if you are in the minority category! - Just read the reviews here or run a quick research on LinkedIn and you will see how many people have left over the last 6months!

As a fast scaling business, we are always conscious of the impact that individuals joining and leaving our business have on our evolving culture. There are times when that impact is greater than we anticipate, and we are working hard to make sure that that does not reflect poorly on the constructive and collaborative environment we aim to maintain. We will be addressing these issues internally with our leadership team to understand better where this is happening, and why. Our leaders and managers go through dedicated workshops centered around Datadog's management practices, unconscious bias, providing feedback and more, as we recognize the impact that managers have on an individual's growth and success in the company. We work to keep these trainings updated and relevant, depending on needs that are identified for our leaders and managers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and know that your feedback is heard and will be addressed as we continue to learn how to be the best company we can be for our employees.

Don't love it/ don't hate it

Generous PTO, gym/health reimbursement, started 401k matching this year. RSUs

Cons

Seem to operate on a "need to know" basis, even though we promote transparency I have yet to see it. Certain policies only visible to certain groups, I'd like to be able to see "the life of a team lead" for example, but content is restricted. Support feels very behind compared to other industries of this size, we are just now "figuring out" SLA's which should have happened years ago. Culture is getting very corporate
