Employees used to work so hard for this place, all of that has been discarded this year as people have been fired in the most insulting way.

After a job at another tech company that left me feeling pretty broken I'm so grateful to be at a company that really cares about it's people. Incredible product!

Cons

Still plenty of growing pains but that's really par for the course in tech these days. Nothing that can't be overcome and there is a huge focus on getting it right.

Being a Domain Expert at Dataminr is a revolving door.

Pros

Decent benefits and comapny perks. I personally really liked working for my manager. Casual dress code.

Cons

Work is very repetitive, shallow, and gets boring quickly. Dont really use your brain. You will often be told to cover geographical areas/desks that you hav no prior experience in. Work a full weekend shift (Sat & Sun) for 8 hours each day every third weekend. Work holidays. Being a DE at Dataminr is a revolving door. 90% of DEs stay on the team for less than 2 years before going to another business function or leaving company. Do not expect long term/meaningful career growth as a DE.
